In April 2000, Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport enacted a low-emissions certification system in order to promote the use of automobiles with reduced emissions. Under this system, low-viscosity motor oils are recommended for use in low-emission vehicles (LEVs), which are designed for good fuel economy and good environmental performance. Since the system's adoption, automobile makers have been increasing their production of LEVs, and LEVs are now marked with the stickers shown below. Only a handful of oil makers succeeded in making 0W-20 formula. Don't settle for 0W-30 if fuel economy is your top concern. 1) Low Viscosity (0W-20) ENEOS Motor Oil is blended from high-performance hydrorefined base oils and an optimized additive blend, so it provides much better heat & oxidation stability than regular motor oils blended from solvent-refunded base oils. Thanks to its innovative formulation, ENEOS Motor Oil 0W-20 achieves a low viscosity of 0W-20, so it enables excellent fuel economy & environmental protection.

2) In addition to its high-performance hydrorefined base oils and various additives, ENEOS Motor Oil 0W-20 is also blended with organic molybdenum friction reducers. As a result, the oil minmizes friction & enables superb fuel economy. The high-performance ENEOS Motor Oil 0W-20 has been certified as meeting the latest API SM standard established by the American Petroleum Institute.

Developed for auto racing, this motor oil has an ultra wide 0W-50 viscosity range, so it provides outstanding performance from the very coldest to the very highest temperatures. 0W-50 is especially suited for sports cars with large engine displacements and high outputs. No other companies (as of Feb, 2008) succeeded in making this 0W-50 formula.

1) 100% Synthetic Gasoline Motor Oil - When high-output cars with large engine displacements are driven for long periods at high temperatures and heavy loads, they need the outstanding heat resistance and oxidation stability that only a synthetic motor oil can provide.
