TECHNOLOGY
Breaking new ground, our line of Thermal Imager up-fitter system is the world's best automotive thermal imaging driving aid of its kind. Be one of the first to have the unique ability to See the Unseen. Originally developed for the military, Thermal Imager technology measures heat signatures and creates an electronic image of everything in view. The system converts these temperature differences into an electronic signal, which it displays like a real-time, black-and-white TV image of people, animals or debris in the road is displayed and easily viewed by the driver.. This image can be viewed in numerous ways: 1) dedicated onboard computer screen, 2) display monitor, 3) factory display screen with the help of a model-specific video interface, 4) projects onto windshield just below your line of sight in the form of a head up display (HUD). The image is available at a glance and won’t interfere with regular driving practices. Because the system detects heat and not light, bright oncoming headlight glare is not a problem for drivers using our Thermal Imagers. Although Thermal Imager is a high-tech imaging system, the installation is easy and the technology has been used successfully for years on Cadillac and HUMMER H1 & H2 vehicles.

Export Statement of Understanding:
Before purchasing, you must agree to, sign & have the Export Statement of Understanding (which we will provide) notarized. Faxing & emailing will not suffice, we will need the original copy back prior to selling you any Thermal Imager. All of our Thermal Imagers canNOT be exported out of the US per the restrictions imposed in the Code of Federal Regulations, (ITAR). These regulations are issued by the United States Department of State, under the authority of Section 38 of the Arms Export Control Act (22 USC 2778) and govern the export of articles, services and technical data identified on the U.S. Munitions List. All night vision equipment systems, components, goggles, and weapon-sights of Generation, 2, 2+, and 3, as well as infrared artifacts, illuminators and aimers, are currently identified as U.S. Munitions items.
